Bad Boys 4
Multiple Emmy nominee and “Better Call Saul” alum Rhea Seehorn has joined the cast of the fourth installment of the “Bad Boys” franchise at Sony Pictures.
She joins a cast that includes Paola Nunez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ioan Gruffudd and Alexander Ludwig. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah direct from a script by Chris Bremner with filming underway in Atlanta. [Source: Deadline]
Transformers One
Paramount Pictures has pushed back the release date for the Josh Cooley-directed animated feature “Transformers One”. Originally set to open on July 19th 2024, it will now debut nationwide on September 13th 2024.
The story follows how a young Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth) and Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry) went from being brothers-in-arms to sworn enemies. Also onboard are Scarlett Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime and Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion. [Source: Deadline]
Gran Turismo
Sony Pictures has released a new featurette for its biographical sports drama “Gran Turismo” based on the game franchise of the same name. Opening August 11th, the film stars Orlando Bloom, David Harbour, and Archie Madekwe.
The clip features the cast and professional racing driver Jann Mardenborough as they discuss the true story of the teenager who transformed himself into an elite race through his video gaming skills and inspired the film.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Paramount Pictures has dropped a new clip from next month’s seventh live-action “Transformers” film “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”.
The clip introduces Mirage, voiced by former SNL alum Pete Davidson, in a car chase sequence also featuring Anthony Ramos’ ex-military tech expert character. The film opens on June 9th.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem
The upcoming animated ” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” film has been moved up by two days and will now release on August 2nd. In addition, a new trailer will drop next week on May 31st. Check out some new posters for the film below.
