TALLINN – The Estonian Ministry of Culture is allocating 600,000 euros to support the organization of Ironman Tallinn 2022 in August this year.
The state will support the organization of Ironman Tallinn 2022 by the non-profit Sportlik Eesti with 600,000 euros in two tranches with the first one totaling 420,000 euros and the second 180,000 euros.
The Ironman Tallinn and Ironman Tallinn 70.3 triathlon competitions will take place on Aug. 7 and 8 with the competition center and finishing line situated in the Noblessner district of Tallinn.
Nearly 2,600 participants have signed up for the competitions. On Aug. 7, altogether 1,400 individual participants and 29 teams from 59 states will tackle the full distance in the race.
